Our Story
Janionių Vineyard began with a family passion for grapes and a desire to create something special in Lithuania. Although Lithuania is not a traditional grape-growing country, we believe that with love, care, and the right grape varieties, we can grow excellent grapes.
Our journey began over 20 years ago when family patriarch Jonas Janonis first planted a vine in his garden. What started as a hobby grew into a family passion and eventually into a full vineyard.
Today, "Janionių vineyard - Little Italy" is a place where tradition meets innovation. We use old, proven methods, but also rely on modern knowledge about plant care and sustainability.

Jonas Janonis
Founder and Vineyard Manager
Jonas is the founder and manager of the vineyard. His passion for grapes began over 20 years ago, and now he shares his knowledge and experience with the whole family.
Marija Janionienė
Administrator and Marketing Manager
Marija takes care of the vineyard administration and client communication. Her attention to detail ensures that every client receives the best experience.
Tomas Janonis
Agronomist
Tomas is responsible for vine care and healthy growth. His knowledge of plant physiology helps achieve the best results.
Agnė Janionytė
Harvest Coordinator
Agnė coordinates harvest work and ensures that grapes are picked at the right time and processed with quality.
